Shibuya Hideo

Shibuya Hideo was a regular Japanese supporting actor at Toho. Possessing a naturally stern expression, Shibuya was almost perennially cast as a stereotypical skeptical reporter, or occasionally as similarly stern policemen or soldiers.

Shibuya was a longtime contract actor for Toho, appearing as an extra or background character in nearly every major Toho sci-fi production of the Golden Age. He retired in the early 1970s when the old studio contract system collapsed.
